More than 170 faculty members, including 54 core faculty, work to advance the College’s education, research, service and practice mission, supported by a dedicated team of nearly 60 staff. Faculty serve as Principal Investigators for more than 50 research programs in locations across the globe, from Columbus to Cameroon and from Manipal to Malawi.

The next dean will lead the faculty, staff and students to articulate a distinctive, transformational and unifying vision for the College of Public Health’s future, and develop and implement a strategic plan for realizing that vision. The dean will promote and enhance interdisciplinary and cross-college partnerships within and across Ohio State, and further build community partnerships and other external relationships.

The dean will foster a culture that embraces teaching, research and service while promoting an authentic commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
