Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications at all ranks for a full-time faculty position in Electrical Engineering beginning in the fall of 2019. Academic rank will depend on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Candidates must have an earned doctorate in electrical engineering, engineering education, or a closely related engineering field by the beginning date of the appointment. A Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field from an accredited institution is required. Industrial experience is preferred. Candidates must be qualified to instruct undergraduate integrated lecture/laboratory courses.

MSOE expects and rewards a strong primary commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Continuous improvement of teaching and continued professional development are expected. MSOE values a broad range of scholarly activities including engineering education research and development of industry partnerships.

MSOE is a private, non-profit, primarily undergraduate, polytechnic university serving approximately 3,000 students with programs in engineering, math, business, and nursing. The university is poised for new opportunities and growth under the direction of its recently released strategic plan, entitled “Extraordinary Together.”
