Job Details
The Chemistry Department invites applications for possible part-time positions teaching organic chemistry and biochemistry courses. Potential courses include Organic Chemistry and Laboratory and Fundamentals of Organic and Biochemistry.
Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeaching may include a number of particular obligations which employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to: meeting with students during and outside of assigned classes, assessing student work and performance, preparing syllabi and course materials, providing copies of syllabi and course materials to their supervisor on request, and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules.
Perform related duties as required.
A minimum of a Master's degree completed in chemistry (ABD acceptable) or a related field. Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
