The University of Virginia, School of Medicine Clinical Trials Office, is seeking a licensed Clinical Research Coordinator OR Intermediate Clinical Research Coordinator to support clinical research studies conducted by clinical investigators utilizing the Clinical Research Unit. The incumbent performs protocol-required nursing care, assessments, and tests during study visits conducted on/through the Clinical Research Unit. The position collects, records, and submits clinical research data adhering to Good Clinical Practices (GCP) for research. The position is also responsible for coordinating clinical research studies as assigned to include study start-up through study close-out and ensuring compliance with GCP for research.

For either level, the successful candidate must have either a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or an Associate's Degree in Nursing with considerable nursing/research experience.

To qualify for the Clinical Research Coordinator, the candidate must have a minimum of 2 years nursing and/or clinical research experience.

To qualify for the Intermediate Clinical Research Coordinator, the candidate must have a minimum of 4 years nursing and/or clinical research experience.

Current Virginia Registered Nurse licensure required.
