Opportunity:

•The Group Dean of Academic Excellence provides academic leadership for assigned locations and is the essential link between students, faculty, and University administration. Provides strategic direction and guidance in keeping with University academic quality goals and standards, and ensures that accreditation standards and continuous improvements are met.
•This leader is charged with being a role model for our University TEACH values and fosters a culture of CARE consistent with our University mission, vision, and purpose.

Responsibilities:

•Develops common direction, sets priorities and ensures implementation of the University?s academic vision and strategic plans.
•Communicates and drives the implementation of the Home Office technology, service and product related initiatives.
•Develops Academic plans to improve student success and satisfaction levels with emphasis placed on academic quality, teaching/learning and outcomes assessment.
•Ensures students are provided support services to maintain the highest level of student achievement and retention without compromising the integrity of the educational process.
•Leads onsite and remote colleagues and faculty within group, including attracting, retaining, managing performance and developing all colleagues.
•Ensures and leads active academic participation in self-evaluations, annual reports, accreditation/state visits, re-accreditation reports, licensing reports and audits, as required.
•Develops an accurate and timely annual budget and session forecast that complies with University policies to achieve the department's objectives stated in the operating plan.
•Manages multiple sites ensuring seamless, student-centric processes to deliver exceptional academic service to students.
•Drives innovation and student engagement with faculty in successful meeting of learning outcomes through a personalized approach to ensuring a highly interactive and exciting classroom environment.

Qualifications:

•Doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in higher education administration, business, management or related field.
•Minimum of 8 years professional experience at management level (academic management experience preferred).
•Familiar with accreditation standards and acceptable higher education practices.
•Highly knowledgeable and networked with higher education through academic and professional organizations and other professional venues.
•Multi-site operations required; experience in a regulated environment preferred.
