The Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in music to begin August 15, 2019.  Candidates should have a record of excellence and accomplishment in music theory and/or composition.  Ideal candidates will be committed to teaching, with the clearly demonstrated ability to impact student learning and artistic development. The teaching load will include teaching music theory, aural skills, and composition, and may also include assignments in other areas, depending on qualifications and experience. Candidates should have an earned doctorate or commensurate professional experience.  Other desired qualifications include a commitment to the liberal arts, demonstrated Christian discipleship and spiritual maturity; strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a highly collegial fashion, and recruitment abilities and experience.
