About The American University in Cairo:

Job Description:

The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate professor in the Department of Public Policy and Administration (PPAD) beginning in Fall 2019 or on a mutually agreed date in the area of nonprofit management, with an emphasis on the developing world. The successful applicant will demonstrate ability to develop a strong, externally funded research program, contribute to graduate teaching and master's thesis supervision, and participate in program development. Preferred areas of expertise include but are not limited to: nonprofit and voluntary sector, nonprofit management and leadership, urban development and planning, and nonprofit financial management.


Requirements:

PhD in Public Administration or related field from the United States or a Western European university. Areas of specialization include nonprofit management, leadership and third-sector governance. Postdoctoral research, teaching, and/or program management experience in a developing country will be preferred.
