Job Summary: Responsibilities: 1) Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Recreation Management and Recreational Therapy, and Leisure Studies. 2) Develop and maintain a scholarly research agenda, mentor guide undergraduate and graduate student research in an area of expertise, and seek some external funding to support line of research. Having a planned research agenda in areas aligned with the program existing strengths in preferred; however, all areas of expertise will be considered. Existing strengths within the department include treatment interventions for depression, chemical dependency, dementia care, legislative (rulemaking) in recreational therapy, physical rehabilitation interventions, and various other areas in recreational therapy, community engagement, and program evaluation. 3) Provide service in the School, College, and University; participate in the lives of people in the community and state. The School Head may assign other duties.
