Location: 266 Freeman Hall

The Department of Industrial Engineering at Clemson University invites applications for two non-tenure track teaching faculty positions (lecturer) effective Fall 2017. Candidates with broad teaching interests in areas such as operations research, quality engineering, supply chain, data analytics, lean systems, and human factors are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be an engaging and effective teacher in various industrial engineering areas, and must have a plan to promote and support diverse populations in higher education, as a part of our department's core values. Applicants must be either professionally qualified (i.e., master's degree in industrial engineering or related field with substantial work experience at the managerial level) or academically qualified (earned doctorate in industrial engineering or a related field with peer-reviewed publications. The targeted annual salary is $40,000 for a 9-month appointment.


QUALIFICATIONS

A master's in industrial engineering or a related discipline and effective communication skills are vital.

Experience in university teaching is desired.
