Humanities Division, Becker College

Becker College is seeking applications for a faculty member in the Humanities Division for the academic year 2018 to teach courses in that discipline: humanities, history, as well as courses allied with the Global Citizenship major within this division. Candidates must have a Ph. D. in a relevant field of humanities, Prior college-level teaching experience is required.

The College has developed a sequence of CORE courses focusing on the Agile Mindset concept, administered through the Humanities Division, which make up part of each students’ general education requirement. Candidates will participate in teaching some of the CORE courses. The Agile Mindset places value on knowledge and the power of learning. The interdisciplinary CORE courses focus on the Agile Mindset’s set of uniquely human skills and prepare our students to adapt in an ever-changing world and create new value.
