Career Skills Coach (NCRC)
Collaborates with PROTO grant faculty and staff and Heartland Workforce Solutions to identify employment opportunities and educational pathways for our students. Coordinates, tracks, and administers the National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC) tests to community organizations and American Jobs Center Partners.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus two years of full time work related experience in advising, coaching, case-management and/or counseling, preferably in higher education, required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. A valid driver’s license and insurability to drive College vehicles is required. Strong computer and analytical skills preferred. Will include some evening and/or weekend hours. Hiring process includes a background check. Contingent upon approval, this position will be special funded until December 31, 2017. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
