JOB SUMMARY:

The Science and Mathematics Department at Texas A&M University – Central Texas is seeking applicants for biology adjunct instructor positions for the 2017-2018 academic year. Successful candidates will be expected to teach in various subdisciplines of biology. Enthusiasm for teaching and working with undergraduate students is essential. A Master’s degree in biology or related field is required, Ph.D. is preferred. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Master’s degree in the discipline or a closely related area and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in area of instruction. Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is desired. An earned doctorate in the discipline (or closely related field) with a minimum of 18 graduate hours is necessary for graduate teaching consideration.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. in biology or related field.

HOURS:    Faculty Hours

SALARY:   $2500/class
