Early Childhood Education - Full-Time Tenure Track Faculty
Schedule Information: 15 contact hours per week and a minimum of 10 office hours per week.
Weeks per fiscal year: Faculty are covered under a 9-month contract period (August thru May)

Position Description and Duties:
Harper College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position to teach courses offered by the Department of Early Childhood Education. This faculty position would also be responsible for coordination of the program. Coordination duties include oversight of the program to ensure that the curriculum offered meets the needs of the students and area partners. Duties may also include course scheduling, outreach to high school partners, collaboration with the Harper College Child Learning Center and collaboration with other outside partners.
Primary responsibilities are teaching a minimum of 15 contact hours per week while maintaining a minimum of 10 office hours per week for student consultation. Participation in institutional, divisional, and departmental committees, meetings and other activities is expected.
Educational Requirements: Graduate degree in early childhood education, education or related field
Experience Requirements: Minimum of three years working with young children in a learning environment.
