Director of Program Marketing(GBS)
On behalf of Goizueta Business School (GBS), manages marketing campaigns to meet goals for all degree programs. Oversees the media plan for GBS and integrates with university efforts. Directs integrated advertising; direct marketing; and interactive, web and event portfolio for program activities. Streamlines operational processes for marketing communications to create an effective marketing resource center for all units. Works closely with university teams to gain economies of scale for the GBS marketing investment. Partners with Admissions, Program Offices and the Career Management Centers to achieve marketing goals. Conducts research to evaluate the impact of messaging in the market and gathers insights for application of best practices.
Manages the budget and annual media planning and execution process to support all program recruitment. Provides the expertise required to articulate and optimize the programs across numerous paid digital media platforms. Plans and oversees the creation of marketing materials, including videos, photos and interactive content to support the school's recruitment efforts. Develops production schedules for media emanating from the department. Coordinates the acquisition of services, prepares specifications for bids and quotes, evaluates cost estimates, and monitors and assures adequate budgetary support. Manages approved vendor lists for print, electronic, graphic design, and online media and other services. Conceptualizes, develops and directs design solutions for units across the school. Monitors curricular changes and makes updates to all marketing materials. Reviews campaign achievements and evaluates in terms of overall goals. May hire, supervise and evaluate staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.
A bachelor's degree and seven years of experience in brand strategy and marketing communications or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Working knowledge of HTML and website maintenance. Preferred qualifications include: extensive background in project management and stewardship, especially in receiving and incorporating feedback; detailed experience creating and executing paid campaigns, especially in digital; exhibited strength managing various external vendors; excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with a broad range of internal and external constituencies and work as part of a cross-functional team.
