Chief Marketing Officer
Chief Marketing Officer, Office of the President #603066 Northern Arizona University (NAU) seeks an experienced and talented Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who will serve as a senior advisor providing marketing leadership and a vision for the university. The CMO is responsible for building NAU’s brand with faculty, staff, students, alumni, major donors, volunteers, corporate and foundation communities, government, the media and the public. Specifically, this position will be charged with working collaboratively across units to bring all internal stakeholders under a strategic marketing vision. The position demands executive level presence, strategic functioning and high productivity, and will have responsibility for research based messaging, marketing, and branding activity. This person leads and manages a staff of marketing professionals, manages outside marketing partnerships and is responsible for working with the President to plan and execute marketing strategies. Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other appropriate field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated a track record of developing and leading successful marketing campaigns that achieve specific, measurable results. And has at least 8 12 years of professional experience in a marketing or communications role, with 5 years of direct experience as a manager with the demonstrated ability to integrate and to encourage and motivate a high functioning team
Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience.
