Construction Technology Instructor
Teach coursework in the Construction Technology Program—including job site management, estimating, scheduling, beginning carpentry and other construction carpentry courses. Work with local industry partners, assist in recruitment of students, refine curriculum, and participation in department and College activities. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 8 years full-time recent occupational experience OR an Associate’s degree from a construction tech program and 4 years full-time recent occupational experience required. Teaching experience preferred. Familiar with construction industry software and technology. May involve travel to other campuses, for day, evening and/or weekend classes. 232 day, 12-month contract. A teaching demonstration will be part of the interview process. Hiring process includes a background check. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
