Job Description:

The University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is currently recruiting to fill a faculty position in our Medical Psychology Division. This is a full-time faculty position. This is a non-tenure accruing position. Candidate will serve a critical role in the Department by providing adult outpatient care services such as evidence based treatment for anxiety and depression, family evaluations, family therapy, psychotherapeutic and other services to patients, alongside licensed psychologists and psychiatrists. Duties includes providing psychological testing and therapy at Shands Psychiatric Hospital. This position will also participate in the clinical research of the Medical Psychology Division. Candidate will serve as an academic faculty member as both a teacher and mentor for medical students, interns, training residents, fellows and psychology trainees.

Starting Salary for this position is negotiable.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree, licensed or with the ability to be licensed in the state of Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:

The successful applicant should show evidence of the ability to function successfully as part of a large team of medical providers.
