GENERAL DUTIES: Hunter College High School, a grade 7-12 school for intellectually gifted students, seeks a High School Teacher

- Teaches subject(s) as noted below in a classroom setting

- Works collaboratively with specialist teachers, administrators, and other learning professionals

- Maintains communications with parents and guardians

- Performs related duties as assigned.

CONTRACT TITLE: HCCS Teacher

FLSA: Exempt

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION: Teach classes in areas of Music, grades 7-12.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with high school teaching experience; Master's degree and NYS 7-12 teacher certification preferred and required within the first four years of employment.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with intellectually gifted students preferred.

COMPENSATION: Hunter College Campus Schools follows the salary guidelines of the New York City Department of Education.
