GENERAL DUTIES
Supports management policy development and decision-making through research, analysis, and reporting.
- Identifies and defines topics and opportunities that advance institutional interests and initiatives
- Conducts research and data collection on policies and best practices and evaluates findings
- Provides statistical and/or quantitative analysis and reporting, developing effective formats for presenting and illustrating findings
- Presents findings to a variety of constituencies and participates in developing recommendations
- Performs related duties as assigned.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Reporting to the Dean of the School of Education, the Administrative Sr Policy Analyst will work closely with the Dean to develop, implement and monitor major School of Education Initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Dean to develop and implement new initiatives to strengthen the School of Education including designing and drafting proposals and budgets. Ensure implementation occurs as intended and scheduled.
- Work with the Dean and faculty to implement a variety of existing initiatives to strengthen teacher preparation at the School of Education.
- Analyze and track progress toward meeting the strategic performance goals for the School of Education including ensuring that grant-funded and other initiatives are on schedule and making appropriate progress.
Report to the Dean on problems, evaluate goal attainment and make appropriate recommendations on solutions to achieve success.
- Work with the Dean to strengthen and develop partnerships with external organizations and institutions.
- Conduct research for new initiatives and for reports, as needed.
- Plan events hosted by the School of Education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and six years' related experience required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree plus six years work experience in education or a related field required; master's degree in education policy or a related field strongly preferred. An appropriate combination of education beyond the Bachelor's degree and experience may be substituted for up to two years of the required six years' experience. Excellent written, oral communication, research and computer skills required. Applicants must be pro-active, highly organized, accurate and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.

COMPENSATION
Commensurate with qualification and experience.
