Job Description This is to fill part-time adjunct faculty positions as they become available on the Brandon campus, Dale Mabry campus, MacDill A.F.B. center, Plant City campus, SouthShore campus, and Ybor City campus. Supplemental Job Information The College is seeking applicants to teach part-time for upcoming semesters. Applications will remain actively on file for one year. To be considered, applicants must have been awarded the qualifying degree and certification by May 2010. If you are selected for a screening interview for an adjunct faculty position, you must bring an official transcript(s) in a sealed envelope from the educational institution to the interview. Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States and Canada must submit a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: www.naces.org). Scan the foreign credential evaluation and attach to the application, or fax/mail a copy to the Employment Office. Additional Documents Required Submit a copy of your graduate academic transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, showing attainment of at least the minimum qualifications, to the Employment Office before applications will be released to deans/program managers. You can scan your transcript and attach to the application. If you cannot attach your transcripts, fax or mail (with the Document Transmittal Form) to the Employment Office (813-253-7168) and we will attach to the application. Applicants who fail to submit (or attach) a copy of their qualifying transcript will not be considered further for adjunct faculty positions. If the transcript does not reflect the awarding of the qualifying degree, or the attainment of the required graduate semester hours, attach written documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was awarded or hours earned.
