English Faculty (Full Time)
Job Description: This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. Ideal candidate will have ability to teach all levels of composition from developmental through advanced. Candidate may also have the opportunity to teach literature surveys and specialty courses.
Duties of Position: Teach 12 contact hours per semester in all levels of composition and literature. Serve on department, division, and college committees. Hold 10 office hours per week. Pursue professional development opportunities related to discipline and pedagogy.
Education Requirements: Minimum of MA in English, Rhetoric/Composition, Comparative Literature, Writing Studies, or Creative Writing from a regionally accredited college or university.
Experience Requirements: Post Secondary teaching experience is required. Two years of community college teaching experience preferred. Experience using technology in the classroom and other delivery modalities expected.
