SUMMARY
This entry level position assists senior IT staff in the analysis of business requirements and needs of the user community by participating in the design, development and support of enterprise applications that meet those requirements. Typically this position works on smaller projects while assisting more experienced analysts on larger projects and systems.
CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS
Enterprise Applications Team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to faculty, staff and students. It is the responsibility of each team member to demonstrate this in every aspect of work and interaction with College constituents. Each team member will promote and continually improve the services we provide in accordance with the RAIDER values. The delivery of customer service will be a primary factor in the evaluation of work performance.

ACCOUNTABILITY EXPECTATIONS
The Enterprise Applications Team members are responsible to the College and to each other for the successful completion of the work of the Division. In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities of each position, every team member is accountable to demonstrate outstanding communication skills, effective collaboration, personal initiative to overcome obstacles and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the overall support of the enterprise software across all environments
- Assists senior IT staff in recommending application solutions to meet business needs
- Assist with the monitoring, downloading and apply application upgrades, updates and fixes
- Work in cooperation with team members in order to globally deploy software and their resolutions, as well as, ensure that systems are streamlined to run efficiently and effectively
- Under the guidance of senior IT staff you will design, code, test and document new applications or enhancements to existing applications
- Participates in meetings with users and IT staff to develop or modify application specifications.
- Performs or assists in the performance of unit and system testing
- Consult with customers in order to determine their information collection requirements and help them to develop specifications for functional, cost efficient systems that will meet current and future business needs
- Develop, analyze and test application access, roles and privileges
- Submit software problems to vendors and apply resolutions
- Keep abreast of changing technologies and investigate new software solutions in order to make recommendations for improvement
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1 + year experience with SQL, SQL+ development preferred
- 1 + year experience with PeopleSoft development preferred
- 1+ year experience as a programmer preferred
- Prior experience with Blackboard, Document Management systems (e.g. ImageNow, OnBase), PeopleSoft, Classroom Scheduling solutions (e.g. CollegeNet Series25 software) and other ERP systems preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Relational database architecture exposure
- Knowledge of database and program design, programming and unit testing of software packages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Detailed and results-oriented
