Assistant/Associate Professor and Program Coordinator, Addictions Studies/Behavioral Health
Position Summary: Governors State University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Addictions Studies/Behavioral Health, who will also serve as program coordinator. The successful candidate will coordinate student admissions, curriculum delivery and clinical sites, as well as, teach graduate courses for the new Master's Degree in Addictions Counseling. We seek candidates with administrative experience, outstanding teaching skills, experience teaching online, experience advising non-traditional or diverse student population, a record of research and scholarship in addictions, as well as, professional and community service.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in a health or human service field with a focus on addictions plus teaching experience and licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor, Psychologist, or Social Worker are required.
