Position Summary: The Assistant Director of Financial Aid will supervise the day-to-day processes and general operations of the office. In addition, this position will provide financial aid counseling to students. The Assistant Director of Financial Aid is also responsible for coordinating financial aid file processing, packaging and verification. He/she will utilize "professional judgment" for dependency overrides and special circumstances. The Assistant Director is also responsible for processing MAP and ancillary awards with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), maintaining and processing the Federal Pell grant and Federal Direct Loan authorizations.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree;
Four years of increasingly responsible experience in the financial aid office.
