GERMAN STUDIES (TENURE-TRACK)
The Department of German Studies at Gettysburg College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2014. We seek an outstanding teacher who is able to relate to and inspire undergraduate students. Applicants with Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment preferred. The candidate must have native or near-native command of German and English, an excellent record of teaching, and evidence of an active research agenda. Candidates should be well versed in German Studies with the ability to teach a broad range of German language, literature, and culture courses. Expertise in film or media studies is highly desirable.
