Video Analyst, Intermediate (Video Coordinator) - 0602243
Georgia State University Athletics Department are seeking applicants for their Video Analyst, Intermediate (Video Coordinator) position.
Duties: This position is responsible for all creative elements, production, editing and distribution of all video for the entire Athletic Department, including, but not limited to video elements for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Volleyball games; GSU website, department events, highlight videos/ sizzle reels, Coaches' Shows, press conferences, interview features, etc. Supervision of camera operators during games, practices and Athletic Department events, maintain all video equipment. Set up and maintain video library, coordinate storage and labeling of past games and perform tape exchanges with other institutions. Will supervise and train student assistants, graduate assistants and volunteer/temporary personnel. Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics or Head Coach. Serve as liaison between department and the GA Dome as it relates to video services during Football games; also liaison between department and the recruiting editing software provider XOS.
Will set up, maintain, and supervise the video library for the department; oversee linear and nonlinear storage of past games; oversee labeling of all tapes (practice, game and exchange)
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or related field. A portfolio of work will be required. Experience and/or education in video production and editing, live sports event production for large screen video. Daktronics Venus controller and stats integration experience required. Functional knowledge of front end video systems and knowledge of software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & After Effects preferred. Experience is essential in creative web design which includes knowledge of web standards and Graphic Design. Experience in an Intercollegiate Athletics environment is preferred.
Salary Range $45,000 to $60,000
