Georgia State University Chemistry Department is seeking applicants for a Department Technology Manager position
Duties: Coordinating the overall integration, performance and maintenance of information technologies in the chemistry department and laboratories, including the general IT infrastructure to support department administration, teaching and scientific research. Consult with faculty and staff regarding implementation of IT infrastructure, supervise and provide support for workstations and servers, prepare reports, write proposals, train and advise faculty, staff and student users.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Chemistry/biology background preferred. Experience with scientific instrumentation a plus.
Salary Range $49,286 - $76,111
