Assistant Director of Scholarship Administration and Stewardship
Job Summary/Basic Function: The Assistant Director of Scholarship Administration and Stewardship is responsible for the administration of the Georgia Perimeter College Foundation Scholarship Program, and, working closely with the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and Donor Relations team, manages the implementation of the Foundation's stewardship program. This position is responsible for the daily administration of the scholarship program to ensure a superior level of promotion, review, award and reporting of the GPC Foundation scholarships to students and donors. The Assistant Director will also lead the implementation of the newly developed stewardship plan as a strategic partner for primary fund raising staff, as the stewardship program is polished and raised to a level of excellence and service for our targeted donor population.
Required Experience: At least five (5) years professional experience in scholarship or student personnel management and community relations, development, donor relations, alumni relations or a comparable or related field is required.
Required Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Must be a self-motivated, proactive, strategic, highly organized professional with excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of clear long and short-range planning and visionary thinking, diplomacy and a heightened sensitivity for special and/or difficult cases. A passion and commitment for working with various constituents and have a high capacity for self-management and an ability to work collaboratively with others while also being receptive to supervision.
