Georgia College & State University is seeking a dynamic teacher who will offer stimulating introductory philosophy courses based on the teaching of primary sources both western and non-western. This person will also have the opportunity occasionally to offer upper level philosophy courses in their area of expertise. The position will have a 5/5 teaching load. This ten-month position begins on August 1, 2012.

Georgia College & State University is seeking a dynamic teacher with the ability to teach primary sources in both western and non-western philosophy. We are particularly interested in finding someone who can show philosophy's relevance to contemporary issues of gender, class as well as relate philosophy to contemporary global issues. Ability to teach critical thinking is also desired.
