This position is responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive marketing, recruitment and enrollment strategy for each program. Direct all aspects of the recruitment of new students to campus, including scheduling and recruitment budgets. Recruit qualified students. This position supports the student from the early stages of recruiting to the application and acceptance processes.
Graduate Admissions Coordinator duties include the following:
Responsible for the coordination of application review for acceptance of admission in the master programs.
Liaison to Housing, Student Accounting, and Records and Registration.
Creates industry trend analysis and marketing reports to support enrollment objectives.
Log and reconcile application fees.
Assists in monitoring the enrollment pattern by creating reports.
Travel as required for recruiting, training and development and conferences.
Plan and organize various special events to include graduation, admissions open house and industry expos for the Masters programs.
Execute a recruitment plan to meet targeted enrollment goals:
Develop a travel itinerary to represent each of the master programs in a variety of forums and to meet and recruit prospective students. Select and arrange visits to universities/colleges. Attend regional and national college fairs
Plan and or participate in on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.
Provide educational and career counseling to prospective students in an effort to increase enrollment.
Provide continual written and telephone communication to students within the admissions process to generate interest and/or application. Evaluate the effectiveness of our recruitment programs. Review and work with faculty committee on approving applications for admission to master program. Assist in the development and scheduling of colloquiums, short course, professional programs, and conferences offerings and marketing plan each year. Provide administrative assistance to department chair when needed.
