We are searching for a leader to fulfill the position of Director of Massage Therapy Program.
This full-time position will provide overall direction of the College's Massage Therapy Program. Plan, develop policy and provide periodic review of program effectiveness; manage Massage Therapy Department budget, maintain program accreditation and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Direct the preparation of skilled healthcare professionals, teach courses and supervise adjunct faculty.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess an Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. A current active license in Illinois as a massage therapist (LMT), a minimum of three years' experience in clinical practice in a variety of settings, and a minimum of two years' experience teaching, developing curriculum, administration, supervising clerical staff and faculty-peers are required. In addition, candidates must have currency in contemporary massage therapy practice and a working knowledge of COMTA rules, regulations, and reporting structures.
