Research Analyst, IRIM

Eastern Michigan University is searching for a Research Analyst, IRIM to use quantitative methods, including constructing student assessments, designing surveys and analyzing research data and management and coordination of multiple data sets; conduct statistical analysis of data from students’ written assessments, interviews and surveys to make projections of student learning by evaluating impact of teacher professional development programs and identifying robust measurement items for future research on student learning.

Requires a Master’s degree in psychology, in education or related field; 2 years of experience in survey design, statistical analysis such as multivariate, nonparametric or regression analysis using SAS or SPSS, and database management using ACCESS or SQL.
