Part-Time Faculty--Mass Communication (PL)
Eastern Kentucky University, located in Richmond, Madison County, Kentucky near the Heart of the Bluegrass, is a student-centered comprehensive, regional, public university dedicated to high-quality instruction, service, and scholarship.
Position Summary: The Department of Communication is seeking part-time instructors to teach a variety of mass communication courses in broadcasting and electronic media and journalism and public relations, depending on course offerings for the spring 2013 semester.
Instructors may be needed to teach one or more courses in the following areas:
Sports Writing and Reporting
Cinema History I
Cinema History II
Advertising Copy and Production
Mass Media and Society
The department will be hiring adjunct faculty from this applicant pool on an as needed basis over the course of several months. Applications will be reviewed as positions become available.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: A master's degree (or higher) in Journalism, Broadcasting, Communication, Public Relations or a related field from a regionally accredited institution. A bachelor's degree may be considered if the candidate has significant related experience in the field.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Minimum Experience Qualifications: Professional experience required.
