Assistant/Associate Professor- Paralegal

Position Summary: The Department of Government at Eastern Kentucky University seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in the Paralegal Program. The 9-month, tenure-track appointment will begin August 15, 2013. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory and advanced courses in a variety of areas of law in the Paralegal and/or Legal Studies Programs. Teaching duties may also include regional campus and online responsibilities.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have a J.D. degree from an ABA and regionally accredited law school, and the candidate's undergraduate degree must be from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Candidate must have a License to practice law; must be eligible for admission to the Kentucky Bar Association and able to teach law (specifically) in Kentucky.
Minimum Experience Qualifications: Candidate must have experience supervising paralegals.
