Job Description: EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in pure math, beginning August 13, 2012. Ph.D. required and commitment to teaching, research, and service to the university, community, and profession is expected. We are particularly interested in candidates who will help promote our undergraduate and graduate programs. Preference will be given to candidates with research in AMS (2010 classification) area numbers: 05, 11, 34, 35, 37, 46, 47, 65.
Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Mathematics from an appropriately accredited institution.
