PEDIATRIC GENETICS - - FACULTY POSITION

Job Description: The Department of Pediatrics of the Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University, is seeking a permanent full-time candidate to serve as Division Head of Medical Genetics.
The position includes responsibility for all aspects of administration of the Division, such as budget and personnel. Additional responsibilities are patient care, teaching students and residents, and research.
The Division currently has a Ph.D. laboratory geneticist, 2 genetic counselors, and 1 office support position.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital for University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Fixed term or tenure track position available at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level.
Minimum Qualifications: M.D. degree from an appropriately accredited institution.
BC/BE in Medical Genetics is required.
