INTERNAL MEDICINE PULMONARY/CRITICAL CARE OPEN RANK FACULTY

Job Description: The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at East Carolina University seeks Intensivists to help provide clinical service to the Medical ICU, Cardiac Surgery ICU, as well as the Cardiac ICU located at Vidant Medical Center and The East Carolina Heart Institute.
The successful candidate will join our academic group at a rank commensurate with qualifications; tenure track or fixed-term appointment available.
This is a flexible position which allows for participation in other academic, research and clinical pursuits. The Division is clinically productive, highly respected and actively involved in the training of medical students, residents and pulmonary/critical care fellows through our affiliation with a single 861-bed tertiary care hospital.
Division expansion is fueled by growth of the medical complex and added emphasis on translational research, including a large clinical base and a lung biology group.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital for University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine and East Carolina University.
Minimum Qualifications: A current North Carolina medical license is required.
MD from an appropriately accredited institution required.
Board Certification in Internal Medicine/Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care medicine.
