Job Description: The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant, Associate Professor or Professor level in a fixed term or tenure track appointment.
This position joins other seasoned family medicine educators in the Medical Student Education Division. This position would assist in medical student, resident, and fellowship teaching and patient care.
In addition, there are additional opportunities to teach medical students in many venues and at all levels of medical education. Other clinical responsibilities will include a continuity practice and assigned time on the Family Medicine inpatient service.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. Vidant Medical Center is an 861 bed facility and the flagship hospital for Vidant Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Minimum Qualifications: MD degree from an appropriately accredited institution
Board Certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
NC Medical License
