Job Description: The Assistant Director of Housing Operations for Off Campus Student Services - supervises one full time staff and assures that the needs of off campus students are met in an efficient and developmental manner. The major responsibilities of this position include: Manage daily operations of ECU's Off Campus Housing Services program. Serve as a resource for students and their families on issues relating to living off campus and student housing needs in the Greenville community. Provide support, guidance and be an advocate for students facing challenges such as roommate issues, concerns with an apartment managers or landlords, or struggling with issues related to living off campus. This position reports to the Director of Housing Operations.
Minimum Qualifications: Required: Master's Degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration or related field, required. Strong interpersonal, writing and organizational skills. Must possess a commitment to diversity and team building.
Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
Preferred: Customer service/counseling experience and knowledge of student housing strongly desired. Strong computer skills with web-site experience preferred.
