Job Description: Full time, tenure-track position available in the Department of Management within the College of Business at East Carolina University beginning August 2014. Candidates will teach some combination of undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Policy/Strategy Management (MGMT 4842 and 6722). On-line teaching is a possibility. Standard teaching load is 9 sh and 2 preparations. Candidates will perform scholarly research leading to publications in area of specialization as required for tenure; be expected to provide service to the university, community, and profession; and any other typical service duties as assigned by the department chair. Excellence in teaching is expected. Appointment is at the Assistant rank with competitive salary and research support. ABD, very near completion and with significant qualifications, may be considered for initial employment as Instructor.
Minimum Qualifications: PhD, DBA in Business Policy/Strategy from an accredited business school is required; however, ABD, very near completion and with significant qualifications, may be considered for initial employment as Teaching Instructor.
--Qualifying degrees must be received from accredited business schools that satisfies credentialing under SACS guidelines;
--Candidate must possess evidence of the ability to develop, implement, and maintain a significant continuous stream of research;
