Job Description: Nine-month, full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in the Department of Kinesiology, within the College of Health and Human Performance.
The successful candidate will teach adapted physical activity courses in both the undergraduate and masters' degree programs. Responsibilities also include mentoring in the undergraduate and graduate degree programs and directing masters' theses and action research projects. Research and scholarly publications in adapted physical activity, pedagogy or related areas, along with professional service to the university, community, and profession, are expected.
Minimum Qualifications: Earned doctorate from an appropriately accredited institution, in adapted physical activity or related field, eligibility for NC Teaching Licensure, preferably including three years adapted physical education teaching experience in a public school.
