Assistant Professor of Accounting

Dean College invites applications for the position of an Assistant Professor of Accounting in its School of Business. We seek candidates with a passion for teaching and for providing transformational learning experiences for our students.

The Business School seeks a versatile instructor with a strong academic background in accounting and finance as well as experience as a practitioner in these fields. Specializations should include but not be limited to the areas of financial and managerial accounting as well as financial management, international finance, and investment management. In this position the candidate will teach courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Principles of Finance and Budgeting. The candidate will also develop and teach upper-level courses in the Business program. There may be the opportunity to develop special topics electives as appropriate.

Qualifications: An MBA with a focus in Accounting and experience as a practitioner in these fields is required.College teaching experience is required; experience teaching students with diverse learning styles is strongly preferred. Experience with course management systems (i.e., Moodle) and classroom media is strongly preferred.
