Assistant/Associate Professor of Education

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses; supervising teacher candidates; maintaining a scholarly agenda; and service. This tenure-track position requires an earned doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or related field from an accredited university. ABD candidates may receive consideration if degree will be completed by start date. Other requirements include excellent communication skills; a collaborative working style; teaching experience in P-12; demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations; competence with instructional technology; evidence of teaching excellence; and a scholarly record, or clear scholarly potential, appropriate for the rank. Preference will be given to applicants with successful teaching experience in secondary education and with qualifications to teach social science methods.
