CONNECTICUT COLLEGE, is seeking a poised and enthusiastic professional to join the Advancement Office as an Alumni Relations Officer. This position would assist the Director of Alumni Relations with the design of alumni activities world wide, focusing on building efforts domestically and identifying future opportunities elsewhere. The Alumni Relations Officer supports all goals of the Alumni Relations and Advancement departments including execution of special events on and off campus.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: developing, implementing and managing various programs including: the Annual Reunion, Insights Programs and annual Seminar on Success; design/develop marketing, promotional and communication strategies to promote involvement in such programs and to attract/increase attendance; coordinate planning of events with alumni, faculty, administration and events office; effectively and efficiently utilize social media as a means for promoting events; develop/provide reports; assist/staff regional events as necessary; other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years experience in Development and Alumni Relations or related field; ability to motivate colleagues and alumni volunteers; excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong computer skills including proficiency with social media . Ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
