This job expired 2 months ago.The Department of Basic Studies at Columbus State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position with the title of Assistant Professor in Learning Support Mathematics. The duties assigned by the Department Chair include, but are not limited to teaching learning support mathematics, advising, and curriculum development.

Doctorate in mathematics or math education is required. Full-time or part-time experience teaching remedial mathematics is desired. A successful criminal background check will be required as a condition of employment.

Applicants must have the ability to meet Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) requirements, in particular a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
