Job Description Relate practical work experience in the area of digital photography. With an emphasis on product, creativity, color managed digital output, studio facilities. Teach assigned courses as scheduled in accordance with current department-approved course descriptions, course outlines, syllabi, and procedures. Assist in the maintenance of instructional materials and lab facilities. Keeps accurate and appropriate records. Advises potential and current students within the discipline. Maintains posted office hours. Maintains a personal portfolio for tenure and promotion review. Attends faculty meetings as called by the President, Provost, Dean, Chairperson and participates on departmental and divisional committees. Required education/experience BA/BFA in photography, minimum five years of experience in today's commercial photography industry. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Extensive knowledge of digital photography, (black & white photography a plus). Lighting, photographic theory. Knowledge of current version of Adobe Photoshop. Preferred Qualifications Training/Certifications Required
