The College of Wooster invites applications for a visiting assistant professor of philosophy.
The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a one-year, full-time visiting position beginning August, 2014. Rank: Assistant Professor. Areas of Specialization: Open. Areas of Competence: Ethics, Political Philosophy, and either one area in Applied Ethics or at least one period in the history of philosophy. The successful applicant should be conversant with both the liberal arts model of education and the analytic tradition in philosophy, and should have a PhD (ABD considered if completion of doctorate is expected by August 2014). Responsibilities include teaching six undergraduate courses.
