THE COLLEGE OF SAINT BENEDICT/SAINT JOHN'S UNIVERSITY announces a tenure-track assistant professor position in economics to begin academic year 2014-2015. We seek a teacher-scholar with expertise in applied microeconomics and quantitatively-oriented public policy analysis. The annual teaching load of six undergraduate courses may include a one-semester Introduction to Economics, Economics of the Public Sector, Microeconomic Theory, and an upper division applied public policy course in health, education, law, or urban/rural/regional economics. The successful candidate will be committed to the ideals of liberal arts education and will teach in the colleges' Common Curriculum, be involved in undergraduate research, and participate in programs such as the McCarthy Center for Public Policy and Civic Engagement or other interdisciplinary programs such as Asian Studies, Gender Studies, and Latino/Latin American Studies.
