Athletics Coach- Coordinator of Digital Content
Reports to:Assistant AD for Communications / Director of New Media
Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote Clemson Athletics through innovative video features, developing both short and long-form videos to tell the story of Clemson Athletics, focusing on teams and individual student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans. - 25%
Along with Athletic Communications staff, work with Clemson athletics teams to develop engaging video content that generates interest and awareness in Clemson Athletics and Clemson University in hopes of attracting prospective fans and student-athletes. - 25%
Deliver video content meant for a variety of platforms with a focus on digital: web sites, social media outlets and mobile devices; content may also be used for video boards, TV monitors and projection screens. - 20%
Research and meet with student-athletes and coaches to identify engaging, inspirational or motivational individual and group stories that develop a connection between subject and viewer.
Assist in the development of efficient processes to assist in the creation of multi-media projects. 10%
Bachelor's degree and related experience in video/technology. 2-4 years work experience in video production or similar field. Frequent work outside normal business hours is required, including occasional overnight travel.
Bachelor's degree and related experience in video/technology and experience producing and editing graphical content using programs such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator, experience and knowledge of video compression for projects delivered to a variety of platforms, ability to have multiple projects in production at the same time without missing deadlines, ability to work in a group environment with other Athletic Communications/Video Services staff and/or student help or to work independently to complete a project, and ability to evaluate, hire, train and supervise student workers as needed.
PAY & WORK SCHEDULE:
Salary will commensurate with experience. Frequent work outside normal business hours is required, including occasional overnight travel.
