Experienced professional sought to serve as the main point of contact for Career Services recruiting programs, including but not limited to employer development, managing career fairs and events, internship and job postings, on campus recruiting and other employer related workshops and activities. The Assistant Director advises students and alumni through individual meetings and workshops.
Primary responsibilities include: coordinating and developing on campus recruiting programs; building, maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing employers and developing new employment opportunities that are a good fit for Clark students; managing internship and job postings; developing and cultivating internship and job opportunities through alumni connections; advising students and alumni on career development and job and internship search strategies; assisting with the management and evaluation of external opportunities for students (LEEP Projects), serving as a LEEP Center Adviser to guide students in the development of their personal and professional goals; other projects and duties assigned by the Director.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline preferred; three years or more of prior experience in career development, human resources or related experience preferred; knowledge of career development theory, techniques and trends; exceptional organizational and presentation skills; prior knowledge and use of technology within a career office including recruitment databases, self assessment technology and website design; ability to travel locally and nationally.
